Home Designer Privacy Policy

Effective 21 September 2026. Applies to the Home Designer application for Meta Quest, developed by Citiview Group and published by Citiview Studios.

Summary

Home Designer does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information. The app has no account system, no analytics, no advertising and no online features. Everything happens on your headset.

1. Information we collect

We do not collect personal information of any kind. Home Designer does not ask for, read or store your name, email address, contacts, location, voice, images, or any identifier from your device or your Meta account.

2. Information stored on your device

The app saves your homes locally on your headset: the furniture you placed and the wall colour and floor you chose for each room, as a small file per home in the app's own storage folder (with one backup copy), plus your music choice in the standard application preferences. This data never leaves the device. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

3. How information is used

The locally stored data is used only to bring your homes back the next time you play and to remember your settings. It is not used for profiling, advertising or any other purpose.

4. Sharing

We do not share any data with anyone. No data is sent to Citiview Group or Citiview Studios, to Meta beyond what the Meta Quest platform itself handles under Meta's own privacy policy, or to any third party. The app makes no network connections of its own.

5. Retention

Your homes and settings are retained on your headset until you clear a home in the game, clear the app's data or uninstall the app. Because we never receive any data, we retain nothing.

6. Children

Home Designer does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children. There is no user-generated content shared with others, no chat and no online interaction.

7. Permissions

The app requests only the permissions the Meta Quest platform requires to run a virtual reality application (head and controller tracking). The Unity engine declares the standard internet permission in every build it produces; Home Designer makes no network connections, contacts no servers and sends nothing anywhere. It does not request microphone, camera, location, hand tracking, eye tracking or storage permissions.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
