I Am Painter Privacy Policy

Effective 27 September 2026. Applies to the I Am Painter application for Meta Quest, developed and published by Citiview Studios.

Summary

I Am Painter does not collect, sell or share any personal information. The app has no account system of its own, no analytics, no advertising, no chat and no online multiplayer. Your game is saved on your headset.

1. Information we collect

We do not collect personal information of any kind. I Am Painter does not ask for, read or store your name, email address, contacts, location, voice, images, or any identifier from your device.

2. Information stored on your device

The app saves your career locally on your headset, in the standard application preferences: your in-game money, the stars you earned on each job, the supplies you bought, and your music setting. This data never leaves the device. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

3. Purchase check through Meta

When the app starts, it uses the Meta Platform SDK to confirm that the app was obtained from the Meta Horizon Store (an "entitlement check"), as Meta requires of store apps. That check is handled by Meta between your headset and Meta's own services under Meta's privacy policy. Citiview Studios does not receive, see or store any data from it.

4. How information is used

The locally stored data is used only to keep your career progress and settings the next time you play. It is not used for profiling, advertising or any other purpose.

5. Sharing

We do not share any data with anyone. No data is sent to Citiview Studios or to any third party. Apart from the Meta entitlement check described above, the app makes no network connections of its own.

6. Retention

Your saved career is retained on your headset until you reset it from the in-game job board, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app. Because we never receive any data, we retain nothing.

7. Children

I Am Painter does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children. There is no user-generated content shared with others, no chat and no online interaction.

8. Permissions

The app requests only the permissions the Meta Quest platform requires to run a virtual reality application (head and controller tracking) and the standard internet permission, used only for the Meta entitlement check. It does not request microphone, camera, location, storage or eye tracking.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
