Embervale Privacy Policy
Summary
Embervale is a single-player adventure game. It has no online features, no accounts, no advertising and no analytics. It does not collect, transmit or share any personal information.
1. Information we collect
None. The app does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, location, photos, voice or payment details, and it makes no network connections.
2. Information stored on your device
The app saves your progress on your headset only: gold, potions, hearts, the gear you own and hold, which Ember Crystals and shards you have found, your sword hand, and your music setting. This data never leaves the device and is deleted when you uninstall the app. Choosing New Game in the menu clears it.
3. Permissions
The app package includes the internet permission, which the Unity engine adds to every build. Embervale does not use it: the game makes no connections and sends nothing anywhere. It does not use the microphone, camera, location, contacts or eye tracking.
4. Sharing
We do not share data with anyone, because we hold none. Purchases and platform features are handled by Meta under Meta's own privacy policy.
5. Retention
We retain no data, because none is collected or sent to us. The progress the app saves on your headset is kept only there, for as long as the app is installed, and is removed when you uninstall it or choose New Game.
6. Children
The app has no chat, no user-generated content and no online play. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
