Crossy Cross Privacy Policy
Summary
Crossy Cross collects nothing. It is a single-player game that runs entirely on your headset. There is no account system, no online play, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. Nothing you do in the game is sent anywhere.
1. Information we collect
None. We do not ask for or receive your name, email address, contacts, location, photos, voice, payment details or any identifier. The game has no servers, no login and no online features, so there is no mechanism by which information about you could reach us.
2. Information stored on your device
The app saves your progress — your best score and star rating for each world, and whether the music is switched on — on the headset itself. This never leaves the device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
3. Headset data
Like any VR app, Crossy Cross receives head and controller positions from the headset while you play, so it can draw the world from where you are standing. This information is used only to render the current frame. It is never recorded, stored or transmitted.
4. Retention
We retain nothing, because we receive nothing. The only data the game creates — your best score, stars and music setting — is retained on your own headset for as long as the app is installed, and is retained by us for no time at all. Uninstalling Crossy Cross deletes it permanently. There is no copy on any server of ours to request, correct or erase.
5. Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 and collects no information from anyone, of any age.
6. Third parties
The app contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs and no social features. We do not share information with third parties because we do not have any. Your purchase itself is handled by Meta under Meta's own privacy policy; we receive only anonymous sales totals from Meta's developer dashboard.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
