Art Studio 2 Privacy Policy
Summary
Art Studio 2 does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information. The app has no account system, no analytics, no advertising and no online features. Everything happens on your headset.
1. Information we collect
We do not collect personal information of any kind. Art Studio 2 does not ask for, read or store your name, email address, contacts, location, voice, images, or any identifier from your device or your Meta account.
2. Information stored on your device
The app saves your work and a small amount of gameplay data locally on your headset: the paintings on each canvas and on the balcony walls, which balcony view you last chose, and your music track and volume. This data never leaves the device. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
3. Paintings and photos you save
Two things in the app write a picture to your headset's own gallery, and only when you ask for it: the SAVE pad on an easel tray, which exports that painting, and the Y button, which photographs whatever you are looking at. Both write a single image file to the Pictures/Art Studio 2 album on your device so that you can view it and share it yourself. The image contains only your painting or the rendered game scene. It is never uploaded, never sent to us and never shared with anyone; it stays on your headset until you delete it. The app does not read any other photo on your device.
4. How information is used
The locally stored data is used only to give you your paintings and your settings back the next time you play. It is not used for profiling, advertising or any other purpose.
5. Sharing
We do not share any data with anyone. No data is sent to Citiview Studios, to Meta beyond what the Meta Quest platform itself handles under Meta's own privacy policy, or to any third party. The app makes no network connections of its own.
6. Retention
Your paintings and settings are retained on your headset until you clear the app's data or uninstall the app. Paintings and photos you have exported to the gallery are retained there until you delete them. Because we never receive any data, we retain nothing.
7. Children
Art Studio 2 does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children. There is no user-generated content shared with others, no chat and no online interaction.
8. Permissions
The app requests only the permissions the Meta Quest platform requires to run a virtual reality application (head and controller tracking). It does not request microphone, camera, location, storage or eye tracking; the pictures you choose to save are written through the system gallery, which needs no permission. The build includes the standard internet and local-network permissions that the Unity engine adds to every build by default, but Art Studio 2 itself makes no network connections and sends no data anywhere.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
